Newborn & Postpartum Overnight Care

Currently available February-July for families throughout Los Angeles. Some months have more availability than others, so it’s best to book sooner than later.

Being a Postpartum Doula

Means focusing on the family as a whole, and sometimes only helping the parents or siblings directly through the postpartum period

Being a Newborn Care Specialist

Usually means focusing care solely on the baby. This background has given me a strong foundation in all things baby-related

We had no hesitations when it came to working with Safara. We were grateful for the help, as she brought such care and consistency to our family. She was accommodating and respectful of our wishes and so loving toward our daughters. When she was in our home, we got the sleep we needed and we knew our girls were in good hands! The babies are sleeping so well now. We’d say to anyone looking to work with Safara that if you want to see progress, lean on her expertise and work together to lay out a goals and plans in the beginning that will improve the whole family’s sleep. We’d recommend her to anyone looking for quality care!

I offer ten to twelve hour shifts, for three to six nights per week. When you book longer shifts, it allows me to provide more parent-focused care, before you go off to sleep and my attention shifts to your baby’s needs. I prefer to begin as soon as possible after your baby is born, and I usually contract for six or twelve weeks.

Generally, families fall into one of two categories: They want to book me for three to four nights per week so they can catch up on sleep, or five to six nights per week so they can have more consistent sleep shaping and get the baby sleeping well by 12 weeks of age when I leave.

My methods are respectful, gentle and baby-led when it comes to sleep. I love helping families build great sleep habits from the beginning!

Investment in this support is $55 per hour for single babies and $65 per hour for twins.

Clients using Carrot reimbursement are welcome.
